The JOP Experience

Hiring a photographer—or any wedding vendor, for that matter—, a big thing. You're hiring more than someone who's just coming to take pictures. Your wedding photographer is the one vendor who will be with you all day, from mimosa to dance floor. You don't just want someone who will deliver beautiful images. You're looking for someone who will feel like a friend, be a source of comfort, and stay calm when things inevitably get a little chaotic.

That's exactly what I provide.

You'll get beautifully hand-edited images of your wedding day, but you'll also get a photographer who's fully invested in making the day itself a great experience. I'll coordinate with your venue and other vendors, take your “but we're so awkward” comment and turn you into models, and tell Mom she can go grab a drink at the bar instead of hovering.

I'll take the “Mom's mantle photo” (you know the one) and the documentary-style candids. I'll have fun with your bridal party while bringing the professionalism, experience, and knowledge needed to keep things moving.

If this sounds like the kind of photographer you're looking for, your search stops here.

What sets Jen apart

What to expect

First up - Let’s chat!

We gotta start somewhere! Tell me a little about what you've started planning, your wedding date, and anything else you already know. It takes just a couple of minutes, I promise.

I'll get back to you within 24 hours (usually way less) and we can keep the conversation going over email or set up a FaceTime. I want to meet you and put a face to the name—and you should get to do the same!

No hard sell. No awkward sales pitch. Just a chance for us to see if we're a good fit.

Let’s make it official

Ready to make it official? A signed contract and retainer are all that's needed to secure your wedding date. Once I receive both, I'll countersign your contract and send over my custom Jennifer Oliver Photography Wedding Guide—and just like that, we're officially official!

Everything is handled electronically, from signing and payments to reminders, so you don't have to keep track of paperwork or remember when anything is due. I'll keep you on track; you get to keep planning the fun stuff.

Planning time!

Let's meet up for your complimentary engagement session. You can choose from my list of previously scouted locations—from cityscape to beachside—or we can dream up something that's special to the two of you.

Maybe it's the school where you met. The spot where you had your first date. Or wherever they finally put a ring on it.

This isn't just a chance to take pretty pictures. It's a chance for us to hang out, get comfortable in front of the camera, and have some fun before the big day.

Getting close!

About a month or so out from The Big Day, you'll get an email from me with a pre-wedding questionnaire and a few options for our final video call.

I'll use your answers to curate a timeline that works for you, and we'll review your family photo list together so everyone knows what to expect.

It's also the perfect time to ask any burning questions, talk through last-minute details, or tell me what's making you nervous. I've got you.

By the time your wedding day arrives, you'll know what to expect—and I'll be ready to roll.

Today’s the day!

OMG. Did you even sleep last night? Hopefully!

Don't worry about a thing. I'll be there to calm your nerves, keep things moving, and make sure you actually enjoy your wedding day while I document all the beautiful, ridiculous, emotional, once-in-a-lifetime moments along the way.

From getting ready to the last dance, I'll be there to capture the big moments, the little moments, and everything in between—while making sure you never feel like you're spending the entire day taking pictures.

The Next 24 Hours

The speeches recited. The champagne drunk. Your day finally came and went, and you just want to relive it all over again.

Lucky for you, you don't have to wait long.

Within 24 hours, you'll get a text from me with a collection of sneak peeks from your wedding day. First look, ceremony, dance floor—you'll get a little taste of everything.

Just enough to make you laugh, cry, and immediately text your friends about how excited you are to see the rest.

Drum roll, please….

4-8 weeks after your wedding day, you'll receive an emailed link to your online gallery filled with hand-edited, high-resolution wedding photos.

Your gallery is yours to share with family and friends, download, print, and post to your heart's content. And yes—you have full print rights, so you can actually do something with all those pretty pictures.

I hope you love them to bits. ❤️

The Investment

Every wedding is different, so your photography collection should be too.

All collections are custom-curated around your wedding day, your timeline, and what you actually need. Maybe six hours is perfect. Maybe you need ten. Maybe one photographer is all you need, or maybe your day calls for two.

Couples typically invest $4,800–$6,600 with me, depending on the coverage and collection that's right for their day.

Every collection includes a complimentary engagement session, a 24-hour sneak peek, an online gallery of high-resolution, hand-edited images, and full printing rights.

Jennifer was AMAZING!! She was so easy to talk to, a great help with planning the day for photos, she went offsite without a problem, and brought us hundreds of FABULOUS photos that totally captured the vibe of us and the unconventional wedding. Would highly recommend her to anyone!

Absolutely amazing! Working with Jen was fabulous. She was punctual, organized, so fun and wildly talented! She did our engagement shoot and she got the most beautiful pictures of us and our dogs. We were thrilled she would photograph our crazy pups and she nailed it. Our wedding day had surprise snow and she was ready for it all!!! She stood in the freezing cold to make my dream pictures come true. She is truly amazing and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We will be recommending her to all our family and friends and will be reaching out to her for any photo needs in the future. Thank you Jen — we are forever thankful for you..

Even though we met in person for the first time on our wedding day, we immediately felt so comfortable and relaxed with Jen. She felt like an old friend. She (and her husband Tyler) took absolutely stunning photos that really captured the fun of the day. Her photos are vibrant and she excels at both candid and posed shots. She made sure we got every family combination we asked for. Jen’s turnaround time was fast - she even provided a sneak peek the very next day. I recommend Jen with absolutely no reservations.
