Hiring a photographer, or any wedding vendor for that matter, is a big thing. You’re hiring more than someone who is just coming to take pictures. Your wedding photographer is the one vendor that will be with you all day - mimosa to dance floor. Not only do you want someone who will deliver beautiful images, but you’re looking for a friend who will be a source a comfort, the calm within the storm, for the biggest day of your life.

Not only do you get beautifully, hand-edited images of your wedding day, but you receive the best team member possible - someone who will coordinate with the venue and other wedding vendors before and during your wedding, take your “but we’re so awkward” comment and turn you into models, tell Mom she can go grab a drink at the bar instead of hovering. Someone who will take “Mom’s mantle photo” (you know the one) as well as the documentary-style candid photos. Just tell me a bit about what you’ve started planning already and your wedding date - I’ll contact you within 24 hours (usually way less) and we can keep the convo going through email or schedule a Facetime! I want to meet you and see the face of who I’m talking to - and you can do the same!
Let’s make it official
A signed contract and retainer are due to secure your wedding date. Once both are received, I will countersign the contract and send you my custom Jennifer Oliver Photography Wedding Guide - we are now officially official! Everything is done electronically - signing, payments, reminders - so you never have to worry about keeping track of anything or remembering when things are due.
Planning time!
YOU’RE ENGAGED! That’s why we’re here anyway, isn’t it? So let’s meet up for your complimentary engagement session. You can pick from a list of previously scouted locations - mixing from cityscape to beachside - or we can plan on a location special to you. Maybe the school where you met or where s/he put a ring on it.
Getting close!
About a month or so out from The Big Day, you’ll receive an email from me with a pre-wedding questionnaire and a choice of times for a final video call. I will curate the perfect timeline based on your questionnaire answers and we will review your family photo shot list during our phone call. This is the perfect time to ask any burning questions and I’m there to calm any nerves!
Today’s the day!
Omg. Did you even sleep last night? Hopefully! Don’t worry at all because I’ll be there to calm your nerves, keep you on track and make sure we make the most beautiful photos and memories you could hope for!
The Next 48 Hours
The speeches recited. The champagne drunk. Your day finally came and went and you just want to relive it over and over. Lucky for you, you can! Within 48 hours, you’ll receive a text from me with a bunch of sneak peeks from your wedding day. First look, ceremony, dance floor - you’ll see a mix of it all!
Drum roll, please….
6-8 weeks after your wedding day, you’'ll receive an emailed link from me with access to your online gallery of hand-edited, high resolution wedding photos. You can share this link with family and friends, and start printing and posting right away - you do have full print rights, after all. I hope you love them to bits!
The Investment
All collections are custom curated to your specific wedding day. Maybe you need 6 hours of coverage, maybe you need 10. Maybe I tell you only one photographer is needed, maybe I suggest 3.
Couples can expect to invest between $3800-6900 with Jennifer Oliver Photography. Each collection includes a complimentary engagement session, an online gallery of high resolution, hand edited, print ready digital images and full printing rights.
